Why does meth make you cheat

Pass a short-term drug test

Figure out what type of test to take. There are four different types of drug tests: urine test, blood test, saliva test, and hair test. The standard 5-field rapid test tests for amphetamines (speed, meth, cranc, ectasy), cannabis (marijuana, hashish), cocaine (cocaine, crack), opiates (heroin, morphine, opium, codeine) and phenzyclidine (PCP).[1]Advances in testing technology have made it difficult to fake these tests, but knowing the differences between tests can help you in certain situations. Here is the short form:
  • Urine test: Are the most common tests used by employers. These are the easiest to fake because you have a small window of time in which you are alone and should actually give your urine sample (assuming you are not being monitored).
  • Blood test: May be ordered if you come to a drive control and drug use is suspected. This type of test is very difficult to pass if you have recently used drugs as it is very effective at determining the amount of drugs in your system. But if several days have passed since your last consumption, it will be more negative than a urine test.[2]
  • Saliva test: Sometimes ordered instead of urine or blood tests because they are less invasive. They're not quite as sensitive as blood tests.
  • Hair test: Are just very difficult to forge. Up to 120 strands of hair are evaluated for drug residues in a laboratory. Since it can take up to 2 weeks for hair to grow long enough to be tested, a hair test cannot determine whether you have used drugs in the past two weeks. However, traces of drugs can be found in your hair for up to 90 days, so it's an effective way to spot regular users.
