How to give your fears and worries about Corona to God
“We are currently living in a time of great uncertainty. Even people who actually go through life very carefree can find it difficult not to worry in view of the coronavirus. We all need comfort and encouragement during this time.
I can't take away your fear myself, but I can introduce you to the one who can: God. If we get to know him better and find his words of hope and encouragement in the Bible, we can face this difficult time.
God is neither shocked nor surprised by the current situation. He stands over time. Our Heavenly Father knows the end from the beginning. And if we ask him, he will carry us through these uncertain times.
He will take our fear away, give us his peace and make sure that we have the strength to stand above our problems. With God all things are possible!
Perhaps you are new to praying and reading the Bible. Maybe you just lost sight of reading the news or you're already at it.
Wherever you are at the moment, I invite you to try the following 3 steps with regard to the worldwide effects of the coronavirus and to focus your hope, trust and faith on God.
1. Pray and ask God for wisdom
Talk to God about the current situation and pray that He will give you, your family, the doctors, government officials, and anyone else who may be affected in any way, wisdom and discernment and guide them in the right direction.
First, we ask God for his wisdom and guidance. We find this recommendation in a verse in the Bible:
If anyone of you needs wisdom because he wants to know how to act according to God's will, then he can simply ask God for it. And God, who likes to help, will certainly answer him without reproaching him.The Bible - James 1: 5
Let Joyce Meyer's prayer encourage you to trust in God in the midst of this crisis and to seek help, comfort and hope from him. If you have it on your heart, you can also pray directly, for yourself but also for others. Prayer has power no matter who is speaking.
2. Don't give space to fear and worry
When tormenting yourself with worrying, fearful thoughts, say out loud: “I am not afraid and I will not make decisions out of fear. I leave it to God and I trust him! " Live in God's wisdom and peace instead of giving way to fear.
In the Bible we read about this:
For God did not give us a spirit of fear, but a spirit of strength, love and prudence. The Bible - 2 Timothy 1: 7
Joyce encourages you once again in these difficult times to put your hope and trust in God. She also has practical tips for you on what to do now. Check out the video now! To help you implement the tips, we have a present for you.
3. Speak the words of the Bible and God's promises about you and your family
This will help you focus on the good in your life. In addition, in this way you do not allow negative thoughts, hopelessness, discouragement and fear to rule your life. You can think of it as an inner battle of your thoughts and words.
The Bible describes it this way:
The word of God is alive and effective. It is sharper than the sharpest sword and penetrates our innermost thoughts and desires. It reveals who we really are and reveals our hearts to God.The Bible - Hebrews 4:12
Also watch this video and let Joyce Meyer encourage you with verses from the Bible, especially for this time.

1 He who lives under the protection of the Most High finds rest in the shadow of the Almighty. 2 He said to the Lord, You are my refuge and my castle, my God, in whom I trust. 3 For he will keep you safe from all dangers and protect you in distress. 4 He will cover you with his wings and you will find refuge with him. His loyalty protects you like a great shield. 5 Do not be afraid of the attacks at night and do not be afraid of the dangers of the day, 6 of the plague that lurks in the dark, of the plague that strikes you in broad daylight. 7 If thousands die next to you, if tens of thousands fall around you, nothing can happen to you. 8 You will see with your own eyes, you will see how God punishes the wicked. 9 If the Lord is your refuge, if you seek protection from the Supreme, 10 then evil will not harm you, and no calamity will reach your house. 11 For he commands his angels to protect you wherever you go. 12 They carry you on their hands so that you don't hit a stone with your foot. 13 You will trample lions and poisonous snakes; you will trample wild lions and snakes with your feet! 14 The Lord says, “I want to save him who loves me. I want to protect those who trust in my name. 15 When he calls to me, I will answer. I want to stand by him in his need and save him and bring him to honor. 16 I want to give him a long life and let him experience my help. "The Bible - Psalm 91
