How can I reuse old motor oil

What can I do with used engine oil?

Do not use it for anything, it is a danger to the environment.

Just get rid of it in the least effective way.

Used motor oil contains a host of bad chemicals and compounds that will be eliminated for other use if it's in your engine for an extended period of time.

In addition to the hydrocarbons, there are lead, phosphorus, berium, zinc, bromine, aluminum, arsenic, calcium, chromium, copper, iron, magnesium, manganese, potassium, silicon, sodium, tin, toluene, benzene, xylene and ethylbenzene.

Most auto parts stores in Western Europe and North America have free refuse bins and a service company can pick them up Recycling and uses them for other purposes like door hinge lubricant.

The most socially conscious and morally responsible measure is that recycling . There is also Nietzsche's argument that we all have a moral obligation based on our innate contract with society when we are born to what is best for our society.

Most philosophical disciplines would result in a moral standard that says you are obliged to recycle, until there is a better, less effective solution that comes about as technology evolves.

This is also a fine example of those around you. Young or old, our behavior is inherited from others and recycling is great behavior that can be passed on to others.

I've thought about it and found that your answer has the highest "transcendent worth".

Many Thanks. I read again and just want to say ... I didn't want it to sound judgmental, but it definitely does. lol. Again TY. Cheers and happy holidays.

If I just hear someone relate to a social contract, I can pour dirty motor oil down a sewer.

@MatthewWhited A socal contract is a contract where you steal everything from someone who lives north of you.

To claim that someone owes something because they were born is to claim that that person is a slave.
