It would be nice if there were a way to access a player widget to scan forward and backward within the currently playing track. Is there anyone using Alloysoft’s Signal that has had this problem and fixed it? So, I might only need to walk to my computer, locate the desired album, and double-click a track to start it playing out in the living room. The support people at Signal have been fantastic. It doesn’t use Safari browser as an interface. But all of a sudden it stopped working.

From here, I can navigate to my music much the same way as an iPod. I had purchased it a week ago but just got around to installing it since I had to backup the music files. Reviewing in ATPM alloyoft open to anyone.
Occasionally it did loose track of the iTunes session when the iPod went to sleep. Skip to Content Skip to Table of Contents. Dignal would like to be able to select Podcasts inside of the Videos menu, and then have a listing of all podcast subscriptions, and then access only the episodes of that podcast. Oct 7, 9: Admittedly, there are signql rough edges. An e-zine about the personal computing experience. Simply launch Signal on your computer, and it basically operates as a standalone Web server. It would be nice if there were a way to access a player widget to scan forward and backward within the currently playing track. But it would catch up. I loaded the free Apple application app named Remote onto my iPod Touch last night and thought I’d give a bit of feedback aploysoft I was using AlloySoft’s app named Signal.
A version compatible with Pocket PC devices is also available. Apple’s iTouch page Cheers, ed. The support people at Signal have been fantastic.

While I won’t review the Gen2 iTouch, the new features all make sense. I have uninstalled the application and then reinstalled and reentered the license code.
Signal is mentioned in these threads on AC: Eventually, it will be possible. I only wish the iPhone was reliable for wireless calls I would own one since it does everything and more that the iTouch does.
User profile for user: It was a great solution to remotely controlling iTunes playback allowing one to choose music by Genre, Artist, Album. Also, they plan on a version soon that will contain a mini web server which will allow users to use a domain name instead of the IP address to access the application.
It would take a very long time to scan through a full library containing thousands of songs. Cookies help us provide you a better browsing experience.
But there is something else that is a bit of an issue. The Remote app is the super clean version of Signal. Turns out, if you open the address given by Signal in Safari on your computer instead of on the iPhone, you get the same controller interface surrounded by an image of an iPhone, as seen above.
This is especially unfortunate if you have saved a lot of episodes from several podcasts or several television shows. But all of a sudden it stopped working.
