1kpf White cabbage
3Tbspsalt
2TLpepper
150ml Mineral water

  1. Remove the outer leaves from the cabbage head, cut out the stalk and quarter the cabbage. Cut into fine strips with a sharp knife or grate finely with a kitchen slicer.
  2. Then put the cabbage in a bowl, add plenty of salt, pour mineral water over it and let it steep for about 30 minutes. Then pour off the excess water and squeeze out the herb well with your hands.
  3. Make a marinade from vinegar, oil, sugar and caraway seeds and pour over the cabbage. Season with lots of pepper and mix well.
  4. Cover the coleslaw and let it steep in the refrigerator for a few hours.

Tips on the recipe

The salad tastes refreshing and goes well with grilled food, especially in summer.

You can also mix a finely chopped onion into the coleslaw - this results in an even more intense taste.
